Silly roadracer, what'cha got there is a little toy cage for bumpin' cars
with.

Add bars to the rear, two diagonal rear bars for triangulation, one bar
connecting the rear strut towers, two bars forming an X in the door and
one more along the sill, bars down the roofline to the A-pillar to the
floor, one along the footwell, and a mess of tubular gussets everywhere.
Oh, and a few bars reaching out to the front strut towers as well.

Now you got yourself a cage.

*evil grin*

Just kidding around, but seriously that's what you'll find in many
well-prepped rally cars, and they're constantly getting bigger and better.

Check out the aftermath of an 80-mph end-over roll at the Wild West
rally in Olympia, WA.  The driver and navigator walked away.
