In my experiance with SE-R cup cars, aftermarket boots
are greatly inferior in quality to OEM boots. An
aftermarket boot will fail in as little as 10 laps
where an OEM boot can last 8 race weekends.
I would get the genuine Nissan boot repair kit which
also comes with the proper grease.
You can also clean and inspect your CV joint for
pitting and fretting while you are in there.
Granted your typical street car does not put as much
stress on the boot as a Cup car which is lowered about
2-2.5" from stock but that has been our observation,
that aftermarket boots are junk.
