As has been said, you do not want to use a racing harness w/o at least a roll bar. Mounting issues aside, you don't want your head and neck be to part of the crushable structure near the roof of the car should you roll over. Seatbacks have nothing to do with this. A good seat should not unlock and you should never ever lean the seat back in a wreck. George Roffe
