Lemme put it this way... I got Snap On tools, Matco, Mac, SK in my toolbox
at work, got over 10K bux in tools alone + a 5K dollar tool box. And I seem
to snap 3/8 air ratchets all the time in half, snapped 2 Snap Ons already,
not warrantiable- 180 a pop. I got some cheapo Harbor Freight Central
Pneumatic 3/8 drive ratchets for 20 bux a pop and they are stronger than the
Snap On ones, if I break it, shit throw it in the garbage and use another
one for 20 bux. I used their torque wrenches also, and its comparable to a
200 dollar Matco one I have, its just as accurate but 180 bux cheaper. It
gets expensive repleacing tools every 3 months, so I reather use the cheap
shit and live with it, might not be a name brand Snap On is but it works
just as good- its got more torque also ! When it comes down to air tools
noting beats IR- Ingelson Rand, for sockets Snap On, wrenches Matco has the
best ones. But for the price of a set of 3/8 drive swiwel 10-19mm sockets U
will end up paying around 300 bux from Snap On. Where U can get el cheapo
ones from HF for 50 bux and they work just as good- have both sets. Matco
has sockets that break too eassy- they are not as sturdy and the pin inside
the socket that gives it the ability to swiwel breaks off. I've broken 3
17mm Matcos in last 3 months- ended up buying Snap On and seems to hold up
pretty well so far.
