Yes I understand that, but for simplicity's sake the turbine is where it is
being heated and the turbine is what is doing the compressing but is there
any real benefit to cooling the air
X degrees prior to that? And/Or would resonance provide any benefit with
forced induction?

The turbine does not heat the intake air, the air is
heated by compressing it as according to the ideal gas
law, PV=NrT.
