CAI on turbo

Well, curiosity took me to the archives but to no avail.
I am trying to find evidence that a CAI would benefit a turbo'd engine. To
me it seems that the air is still going to be heated by the turbine and then
cooled by the IC. If the CAI lowers the intake temp prior to the turbine
wouldn't that be negated by the subsequent heating? Or would a 3 degree drop
in temp before the turbo still equal a 3 deg drop after the IC? (I doubt
this)
Additionally, wouldn't any resonance benefit from the CAI piping also be
negated by the turbine?
