Insert Ben Mink violin solo here :-)
I just saw the boys Sunday night here in Atlanta (for the 8th time) and it
was the best show I've ever seen. But, back to being on-topic, unlike so
many other lists.

As for the mailing list, I truly feel that it is still a valuable resource.
I think what it might be missing now is the level of innovation that was
once prevalent, but I feel that is due to the fact that the B-13 and B-14
platforms are just about fully developed. Let's face it, most of us now
know how to do the full array of engine bolt-ons and suspension upgrades,
the biggest areas for improvement now are the B-15 platform and those "weird
problems" that arise like what I am having with my NX right now. I have no
spark, most likely due to a wiring problem that I can't really ask the list
about because it is mostly a matter of finding a bad wire. (I hope.)
Still, for anyone getting into the SR20DE for the first time, someone
learning to mod. their car for the first time, or for eminence issues that
need some investigation and a little "hand holding" to get through, this is
still the premier list for SR20DE engines and B-13 and -14 chassis. We just
need a little time to bring the Spec V crowd along and encourage development
on the QR25DE motor & B15 chassis. We should remember that this list did
not even exist when our NX's were in production, right?
Most of us pride ourselves on the excellent signal-to-noise ratio on this
list, and that comes at the price of weeding out the posts of street racing,
etc. and the people who would come here in search of that sort of fluff.
Heck, if this list contained only 100 people and had only 2 posts per day, I
would still be happy as long as the posts were on-topic. It should also be
taken into account that this list has saved its members so much money via
stopping useless mods, potentially destructive "tuning" and the need to
visit a repair shop.

dreamers learn to steer by the stars
all of us do time in the gutter
dreamers turn to look at the cars
turn around and walk the razor's edge....
Don't turn your back and slam the door on me"
