I took my 91 se-r to the strip on sunday and I have a new best time. My
previous best was a 15.5 @ 87.5mph.
Here is the complete timeslip:
R/T 0.883
60' 2.229
330' 6.396
1/8 9.851
MPH 71.40
1000' 12.831
1/4 15.361
MPH 88.52

At the beginning of the day the track had excellent bite. I found I had to
do 5krpm slip starts to keep the rpm up. However as it got cooler my times
got worse. I started running 15.6-15.8s after that with 60' around 2.3-2.5.
There was one race that was good. I ran a JRSC 6th gen civic EX, off the
line he cut a 2.2 60' to my 2.5 (I spun way to much  ). His 60ft jump
put his rear bumper at my front bumper. I hit 2nd and he stops pulling and
we even out, then comes the 2-3 shift. I start to pull on him I get right
to his front bumper as we cross the line. He beat me with a 15.6 @ 87mph to
my 15.7 @ 88mph. My se-r has cone filter, 2 1/4 catback with 2k maxima
muffler, high flow cat, UR UDP. It weighed in at 2733lbs with me so that is
around 2570lbs without driver. It seems that I'm running close to the rev
limiter in 3rd gear at the finish line. I've done some cartest simulations
and it shows that I could drop 1 tenth and add 1-1.5mph by going to a
195/60-15 tire vs the 195/50-15 I'm running now.
