Hard cornering and massive tread block distortion.  More pressure, more neg
camber, and tread shaving might help them to wear more evenly.

Best bet - buy race tires for racing  :)  Autox shreds street tires in a
hurry.  Long term, it's cheaper to buy dedicated race rubber.
