>Not always. Don't confuse Nissan with
Nissan dealerships. Dealerships vary
widely, and they're independently owned
and operated.

I think I agree with Jay's point, and in
a way this sort of reinforces it. Nissan dealerships are not part of Nissan
North
America, but as the almost-exclusive
contact point between the automaker and
their customers, they play a large role
in a customer's experience with their
car (if bought at a dealer) and the
automaker in general. In short, they
represent them. There are great Nissan
dealers, like yours, and there are
mediocre or crappy ones, like a lot of
the ones in Atlanta. Without any
consistency, it doesn't take a majority
number of bad dealers to sour people on
a nameplate. Nissan can build bitchin'
cars, but if their dealers suck they
will have unnecessary difficulty selling
them, and be, in that sense their own
worst enemy. I mean, no ones complains
about, say, Lexus dealers, or Saturn
dealers. (i'm talking about sales).

oops, a little wordy!
