Could I troube any B14 owners to taking 10minutes tops on checking the
resistance on their internal coil? This is per FSM instructions. (unmodified
ignitions only please)

All you need to do is pull the plug on the back of the distributor (car off)
at the 4 oclock position (2 wire connector) and set your voltmeter to read
under 1k ohms range. Then put each of the probes on the two leads coming out
of the distributor for that connector. Please report your reading.

That was the primary coil check. Now for the secondary coil check set your
meter to read below 30k ohms. Take the distributor cap off. Put one probe on
the coil tower gold part (the plastic thing that sticks into the cap located
approximately 9 oclock position) and the other probe on the top lead from
the connector you just checked above.

Specs are:
Primary .5 ohm - 1 ohm
Secondary 25k ohms

Mine are 1 ohm and 17.4 ohms respectively. I would appreciate your responses
greatly.
