"Vented" means "not solid."  Slots and crossdrilling are not venting.
Brembo blanks are very good parts; they generally have thicker walls and
higher tinsile strength.  PowerSlot and AutoSpecialty say that these are
the reasons for which they use Brembo blanks to start with, adding slots
and pits and all sorts of silly machine work.

If I could have any street rotor, I'd start with a Brembo blank and have
it locally silver-cad plated for appearance, and be done with it.
Summit Racing also carries them for many imports, so if you're looking
to buy, shop wisely.
