Then its too tight!  You may not actually be ever fully engagin the
clutch.
This is a simple fix. Just go out to your car and loosen the lock nut on
the clutch arm.  Then loosen the finger nut so that you have atleast
1/2" of free play before you hit resistance when pushing the arm with
your hand.
