I just thought I should post this because it seems that Courtesy is getting
a real slamming right now. I have ordered stuff from them about a dozen
times now and have never had a problem. I feel for the guy who had the
money taken from his account for the wheel he cancelled, that is a
situation that I would be peeved about. But lets be honest, in any business
there is going to be a certain amount of human error, its unavoidable. The
real test of a business and their commitment to the customer is not weather
or not they make the occasional error but how willing they are to correct
it and to try and make sure it wont happen again. In this case it seems to
me that they are attempting to make it right. The first guy he talked to
was a simple parts department worker and most likely doesn't have the
authority to issue the credit before receiving the product (that is
standard in most businesses) Yeah he could have taken the initiative
himself to go ask the manager but he most liking didn't think there would
be a big problem with the delay. Personally I think that if the list
member (sorry forgot his name) does receive the credit in the next couple
of days then courtesy has done what they could to correct their mistake and
we should just let it go. Lets remember that they too have done a lot for
the SE-R community and we owe it to them to give them a break when human
error does pop up.

My two cents only,
Dave
