I know that some people were asking about this stuff and this came across my
local SCCA list.

 Apologies for spamming the list, I have lost the original emails.

 I now have a source for new shafts, for approximately $135 each.  The
original - on my units at least - were made from 1018, hence the rust and
bending.  The new ones are 4130, heat treated, and with a Techmetals
Armatech coating that can be stripped and reapplied.  I have ordered a set
for my Shockteks, so if anybody wants to check them out just email me.
