When the oil is cold I usually see 40psi at idle.  Even idling
for 10 minutes or so I will still see 20psi at 900rpms.

It just makes sense *NOT* to beat the hell out of the car when
you first start it up.  Especially after installing cams.  I
usually do the break in procedure I have heard others
say they don't.

I can say turbo cars love cold engines.
