Well the thing is, it is very nice that the se-r doesnt need to shift in to
the third gear to reach the 62 miles thing but the problem is that the car
exceeds its power peek while trying to do that. My car cuts at 6500 rpm i
guess se-r is the same so you are barely 61-62 miles before the second gear
cuts right? ( I might be wrong on this cause i havent driven the SE-R yet),
where as in a hard launch around 3200 RPM with half clutch dropping and ( i
dont know the english word for this) not leaving the gas pedal while
shifting i launched it myself at 6.9 which is my best time ever on that car.
Also it depends on the surface alot, where i would get better gripping
instead of spinnig the tires without moving. If my car would be 4 wheel
drive 0-62 would drop about 1 or 1.5 seconds. Anyway what i am actually
trying to say is, these sites and magazines doesnt matter . I passed a 01
celica GTS with a 00 Celica gt which has eveyrthing the same but 40
horspower less. So everything is on driving abilities, surface and weather.
Thats pretty much it.
