I have asked this question of Castrol Syntech........thay say no problem
mixing, in fact I've been using an additive as well "Krex" from any
Mitsunishi dealer (really improves performance, try it and see) in two cars
over the last 4 years with no problems. Sometimes I use straight dino,
actually they say it is better to use dino and change it every 2000 miles
that to use Synthetic and change it every 5000. But yes dealers are skeptical
if you turn up with antything unusual. Don't know about suddenly switching at
high miles.
